Parks Edge Planting Project
In 2015 Board members coordinated the Parks Edge Planting Project together with the City of Port Saint Lucie Public Works Department, the Saint Lucie County Environmental Resources staff and the Keep Port Saint Lucie Beautiful Program.
By April 10th more then 300 plants, 100 trees and what seemed like a ton of mulch had been delivered to Parks Edge and were shovel ready.
This project included new landscaping to our Clubhouse grounds as well as the median at Landale Blvd and our East and West entrances on Belmont Circle.
New trees were planted throughout our community and bordering our waterway while benches were installed along Darwin Blvd for residents to relax and enjoy their day.
Pictured above: County Commissioners Tod Mowery and Kim Johnson joined St. Lucie County Environmental Resource staff in the planting project. Thank you all for helping to keep Parks Edge and Port Saint Lucie beautiful.

Special Thanks to all the wonderful Volunteers who participated in planting our new Trees. After all their hard work our President, Kenny Nail, and Director, Carol Nadritch, served sausage gravy and biscuits pancakes, Dixie cream donuts, coffee and juice. It turned out to be quite a celebration!
